beat365平台 maintains an open-door admissions policy. JWCC will admit all high school graduates or the equivalent (GED) who demonstrate an ability to benefit from a JWCC program, 仅受篇幅限制. Admission may be denied to an applicant when it is not in the best interest of the college or the applicant to grant admission.

修读文科副学士(AA)的学生, 理学副学士(AS), 美术副学士(AFA), or an Associate in Engineering Science (AES) degree program must have completed at least 15 units of high school coursework in the following subjects:

1. Four years of English (emphasizing written and oral communication and literature)
2. Three years of social studies (emphasizing history and 政府ernment)
3. Three years of mathematics (introductory through advanced algebra, 几何, 三角函数, 或计算机编程基础)
4. 三年理科(实验科学)
5. Two years of electives in foreign language, music, vocational education, or art

Applicants who do not meet these requirements will still be accepted. Deficiency can be satisfied through placement assessment or by successful completion of specified high school or college preparatory courses in the necessary subject area(s).

在JWCC, most of our programs do not have specific admissions requirements; however, there are several programs in Health Sciences which have selective admissions processes. To learn more about the selective admission programs and admission requirements see the individual programs:

如何建立居留权

To be eligible for in-district tuition a student must have lived at a residence located inside the JWCC district at least thirty days prior to the beginning of that term. Students who move into the district may be required to complete a 居民调查问卷 and provide at least two non-self-serving documentation of their residence.

A student is in the beat365平台 district if he or she resides in one of the following high school districts:  Bluffs, 布朗县, 中央, Griggsville-Perry, 自由, Meredosia-Chambersburg, 佩, Pikeland, 愉快的山, 昆西, 东南部, 团结, 或西方.

位置的评估

入学不需要分班考试, but may be needed prior to 登记 to ensure that your academic advisor schedules you in the appropriate courses to ensure your success.

The need for a placement assessment may be satisfied based on the evaluation of high school transcripts (within 5 years), SAT或ACT成绩, or successful completion of college level English and Math courses. The advising office will notify you if this is needed before your advising appointment.
